PRIZED: God chose you to be His prized possession - James 1:18

He chose to give birth to us by giving us His true word. And we, out of all creation, became His prized possession. James 1:18 NLT Eternal Gospel: "But you are A CHOSEN PEOPLE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR GOD’S OWN POSSESSION, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light." 1 Peter 2:9; "For you are a holy people to the LORD your God; the LORD your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth." Deuteronomy 7:6; "For we are God's masterpiece, created in the Messiah Jesus to perform good actions that God prepared long ago to be our way of life." Ephesians 2:10

My heart is overwhelmed with gratitude, Abba Father, as I read this wonderful scripture. I praise You for giving me a new birth so that I have become a prized possession of Yours in Christ Jesus, my Savior. No longer is my identity defined by my past blunders and transgressions but by who You say I am in Your beloved Son. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for saving me from my wretchedness and making me a new creation. Please guide me, Holy Spirit, to someone who feels like an outcast. Allow this truth, "God longs to give you a new birth and make you one of His prized possessions." Speak newness of hope into their heart as we pray in Jesus' mighty name.
