It is our goal that Hope For Hard Hats will help us deal with our pain and hurt and our Daily Life with Jesus.
Hope for Hard Hats was started to bring hope to the construction industry, which currently has the 1st or 2 nd highest suicide rate out of all industries.
This is part of my past, and the struggle brought me to a relationship with Jesus.
Today we talk about parent pain + hurt and how that impacts us today!
Carole offers some amazing stories with real-life situations.
Real honest open communication about pain and hurt, and the garbage we will have to deal with over and over if we do not deal with it.
Great time talking, Carole offered 3 simple practical situations that can be started today with anyone who is struggling.
We are unashamed about our faith in Jesus, we believe HE is the true hope.
3 Steps:
Find a safe person (we both agree this is Jesus if you do not know or have anyone else)
Start to write down your pain and hurt, the act of writing it down will help you, and the instant response it creates
Go on a walk and talk a release the hurt.
Most men want to bury items and not deal with them, but let's be honest we are continuing to deal with them in our daily interactions.
We want to go head-on with this crisis in the construction industry, and the out-of-control suicide rates hurt and pain is at the root of this problem, Jesus Cares!
Give the video a listen and let us know your thoughts. We will explore how this takes shape, maybe more time with Carole and others in the construction industry who Have true Hope, we want everyone to have eternal HOPE which is found in Jesus.
